What is a daily limit? A cap on event surveys
A daily limit is a cap on how many event surveys, such as CSAT or CES, one person can receive in a day.
A daily limit caps how many event surveys one person can receive in 24 hours. In Pulseri it applies to surveys that start when something happens, such as a CSAT or CES survey after a support ticket closes.
Why event surveys need a limit
An event survey follows something the person did. Without a limit, a customer who writes to support three times in one day gets three surveys. Once the limit is reached, later events that day send no more surveys.
How it differs from the relationship cooldown
The relationship cooldown is a long wait, 90 days by default, for NPS, eNPS and ESAT surveys. Event surveys must arrive right after a moment, so a long wait would block most of them. Both limits work side by side, and you can change both in your settings.
Together they help you avoid survey fatigue.
